Yume Iwakura

Yume was born in Japan and moved to Philadelphia, PA a few years later, where her two brothers were born. Her family then moved to Apex, NC in 2015. She attended UNCC and transferred to NCSU Fall of 2023. Though she is a biology major, taking an Organic Chemistry course compelled her to explore the world of chemistry and is excited to see how it will supplement her understanding of biology. Yume enjoys language tutoring, playing tennis, hiking, and thrifting with friends.
