Jamie Thuan

Jamie was born in Charlotte, North Carolina. He obtained his B.S in Chemistry and B.A in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. During his studies he investigated the  synthesis of indanones derivatives and hydrocarbon cages. Jamie joined NC State University as a chemistry graduate student in the Ohata lab in Fall 2024. He enjoys chess, skateboarding, and travelling.
