Chiamaka Uzoewulu

Chiamaka was born in Anambra State, Nigeria. She obtained her B.S. and M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. During both studies, she investigated the bioactive secondary metabolites present in higher plants to validate their ethnomedicinal values. She joined the Ohata Lab at North Carolina State University in the Spring of 2021. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading books, and traveling.
