Zeinab Nizam

Zeinab was born in Lebanon, Middle East. She graduated from Lebanese University in 2017 with a B.S. in Chemistry. Then she received M.S. in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at Lebanese University-Faculty of Pharmacy. In 2019, she worked at the American University of Beirut (AUB) as a research assistant, her work focused on the synthesis of various metal organic framework (MOFs) using different linkers and Cyclodextrin-MOFs as drug delivery systems to enhance stability and solubility of drugs. Zeinab joined The Ohata Lab at NC State in Spring 2021. In her free time, Zeinab enjoys reading novels, listening to music, traveling, hiking, going to the gym, and hanging out with friends.
